For fun, Hans plays hockey, skis, Bicycles and watches Formula 1. Hans volunteered for the Big Brothers and Big Sisters CVI 2016-2019 and served on their board of directors for 3 years. He is also an active member of the Young professionals of Nanaimo and Advocis - The Financial Advisors Association of Canada.
